Background
Charles Karow is a Senior Application Development Consultant,
with over 15 years experience at developing software applications,
in fields ranging from physiological simulation models to project
tracking; from radio frequency propagation analysis to small business
accounting. He has worked with mainframe, mini- and microcomputers.
Mr. Karow is a seasoned software developer,
who has experience using Visual C/C++, Visual Basic, dBASE, Clipper
and other tools in the Windows NT, Windows 95, DOS and 0S/2 Presentation
Manager environments. He has recently done a substantial amount
of work with the World Wide Web and Client-Server systems, and has designed systems based
on several different database technologies. He has written Active-X controls and ISAPI Server extensions in Visual C++, as well as Windows CGI scripts in Visual Basic.
Mr. Karow has a broad background in telecommunications and data
processing. He spent several years simulating Air Force planes
engaged in jamming exercises, and analyzing their interactions
with ground-based telecommunications and RADAR equipment. He also
spent several years assessing the impact of new experimental and
developing communications-electronics systems on present and future
environments for the US Government. During all of this time he
developed numerous computer-based tools and models to facilitate
the analyses. He has more recently been developing Internet World Wide Web sites and computer applications
involving Internet servers, data communications, client-server databases,
traffic analysis, hardware-software interfacing, video production
and networking.
He currently specializes in advanced Internet software solutions.
